The iTero scanner allows us to take a high-quality, accurate, 3D image of the individual characteristics of your tooth surfaces and gum tissue. No putty-filled impression tray necessary! Not only is this process more comfortable, but this digital scan that can be used for a crown, bridge or Invisalign is quick and precise.
The first step is a “wand” which will capture images of your teeth and gums. The completed scan will then be sent to the computer which will build a 3D model. For Invisalign patients, we can use the iTero outcome simulator to show you the planned outcome of your treatment!
