Sealants: Dental sealants are a thin layer of acrylic coating that is painted on the chewing surface of the molars. Fluoride Applications: Fluoride is a naturally occurring mineral in water and certain foods. Although we do get small amounts of fluoride through eating and drinking, using concentrated amounts of fluoride has proven benefits for teeth. Applying a fluoride treatment directly to a child’s teeth will strengthen the teeth and can even reverse the early effects of decay.

Fillings: A dental filling can effectively repair the damage caused by a cavity. Teeth that have been treated with fillings can be cared for in the same manner as healthy, untreated teeth.
