At Danbury Dental Services, we’re proud to offer clear aligner orthodontics to our adult and teenage patients. Schedule an appointment today to find out if one of these treatments is right for you.

What is Invisalign

The Invisalign system uses a series of clear plastic aligners to straighten your teeth. Like traditional braces, Invisalign applies gentle and consistent pressure to the teeth to move them in the jaw. Invisalign aligners are custom-made based on your unique case. Invisalign aligners are worn for 20 to 22 hours a day and removed for meals and oral hygiene. Each set of aligners are worn for one to two weeks or as recommended by the dentist.

What is ClearCorrect

ClearCorrect is similar to Invisalign; however, ClearCorrect offers three distinct options for treatment:

Limited 6 – Limited 6 is an ideal option for minor adjustments, as it includes six sets of aligners.

Limited 12 – This option provides 12 sets of aligners. There is no additional fee for revisions of the aligners during the process, as long as no extra sets of aligners are necessary.

Unlimited – As the name suggests, this option allows us to work with as many sets of aligners as are necessary. This allows for unlimited revisions to your aligners for up to three years.

What are the Advantages of Clear Aligners?

Unlike traditional braces, aligner trays are virtually invisible. One of the best parts of aligners is that they are removable. You can take them out to eat, brush, floss or to play sports. You can even remove them for special events. Without brackets and wires, you can brush and floss normally, improving your dental health.

Do I need a Retainer?

Once you complete your orthodontic treatment, it is important to wear a retainer. This will prevent your teeth from returning to their previous positions. Be sure to wear your retainer!

What Does Orthodontic Treatment Cost?

Each case is unique. Your treatment costs will be based on your specific needs. If you have dental insurance, orthodontics may be covered. Ask our knowledgeable team!
